Understanding Property Listings & Sold Prices
When comparing Properties for Sale, consider more than the asking price. Property condition, age, renovations, lot size, strata fees and location can all affect value. Reviewing similar Sold Homes can provide a useful benchmark, although differences in features, condition and market timing should also be considered.
Recently Sold Properties and MLS Sold Listings can help buyers identify neighbourhood pricing trends and compare recent transactions with current asking prices. Sold prices reflect completed negotiations, but they don’t necessarily reveal a property’s condition or the terms of the sale.
