What do they have in common?

An ‘attached home’ can be a duplex, rowhouse or townhouse, triplex, fourplex. The homes are joined by a common wall, usually with access to the outside and a small yard area. No Strata Fees!

Duplex, Rowhouse, Triplex, Fourplex owners own the land on which the home sits. Each unit is a separate legal entity, and the homeowners are responsible for the maintenance of the building and the land. Pitt Meadows Duplex, Rowhouse, Triplex, Fourplex generally don’t have Strata documents – because there is no strata.

  • RS-2 One-family or Two Family Dwelling, on lots less than 511 m2 in area.
  • RS-3 and RS-3A One-family Dwelling
  • RS-5 One-family or Two Family Dwelling, on lots less than 511 m2 in area.
  • RS-6 One-family or Two Family Dwelling, on lots less than 511 m2 in area.

  • RT-1 One-family or Two Family Dwelling provided the units are side by side.

  • RT-4 Multiple Conversion Dwelling, the number of dwelling units is limited to two
