Commercial Office space Statistics

According to the release of the Statistics on September 15, 2022 by Commercial Edge, Lower Mainland’s Commercial Office space and Retail market sees fewer transactions in the second quarter of 2022.

Office and Retail space: There were 143 office and retail sales in the Lower Mainland in Q2 2022, which is down 48.9 per cent from the 280 sales in Q2 2021. The dollar value of office and retail sales was $649 million in Q2 2022, a 25.4 per cent decrease from $870 million in Q2 2021.

There were 1,041 office and retail sales in the Lower Mainland in 2021, which is up 74.1 per cent from the 598 sales in 2020. The dollar value of office and retail sales was $3.13 billion in 2021, a 77 per cent increase from $1.77 billion in 2020.
