City of Delta has over 70 parks and trails with features that include picnic areas and playgrounds, outdoor pools, water play parks, sports fields and skateboard parks, trails for walking, hiking, biking and horseback riding.
- Centennial Beach – Is part of Boundary Bay Regional Park. Popular place for sun tanning or swimming, family picnic, long walks on the beach when the tide is out!
- George G. Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary – popular nature viewing area, it’s ranked as one of the top 10 bird watching sites in Canada.
- Ladner Harbour – marina offers moorage to fishing vessels & pleasure craft.
- Boundary Bay Regional Park – Dyke trail is 17 km and has spectacular views of Boundary Bay. It’s a flat trail for walking, biking or horse riding.
- Deas Island Regional Park – offers scenic views of Fraser River area. Has picnic areas, trail loop around the island. It is home to Delta Deas Rowing Club.
- Big Splash Water Park – The 7-acre water slide park in Tsawwassen it’s Metro Vancouver’s favorite water park for all ages.
