Most popular parks & trails:

  • Queen’s Park – first establish public park in BC. The park is 75 acres and has Queen’s park Arena, stadium, animal petting farm, spray park, tennis courts, sports fields, picnic tables.
  • Port Royal Park – 6 acres with green space, pinic shelters, playground, park benches, It is connected to the riverfront walk along Fraser River which provides views of the of the city.
  • New Westminster Quay – Quayside Esplanade & Boardwalk – scenic walk admiring the paddle wheelers and tug boats as they travel along Fraser River. Pier Park and River Market are the places for food & fun.
  • Tipperary Park – near city Hall, the park is a beauty full of trees, ponds, paths and picnic tables.
  • Hume Park – 31 acre park has a variety of natural and recreational facilities: open spaces, picnic area, water spray park, swimming pool.
  • Moody Park – historic place, 9.62 hectares. The park has playing fields, picnic tables, benches, spray park,
  • Brunette-Fraser Regional Greenway – forested trails along Brunette River and Stoney Creek in Burnaby. Walk or Bike.
