The city of Port Moody offers a variety of organized recreation facilities and programs for children, adults and seniors. You can also spend time outside exploring parks & trails like:
- Rocky Point Park – The park has plenty of activities: children park, outdoor swimming pool, skateboard park, kayak rentals, boat launch, off leash park.
- Shoreline Park – Scenic trail along the Burrard Inlet with bike and walking path. It starts at Rocky Point and ends at Old Orchard Park.
- Old Mill Site Park – It is a lookout point where you can see the remains of the old sawmills, along the Shoreline Park.
- Old Orchard Park – Great little urban gateaway with picnic tables and sandy beach.
- Buntzen Lake – It’s a nature lover’s paradise, surrounded by hiking trails, it has a beach and picnic tables.
- Belcarra Regional Park – Views of the mountains, lots of hiking trails, picnic area, and fishing of the pier make it a great place to enjoy nature.
- White Pine Beach – Small lake with the warmest waters in Vancouver area and sandy beaches makes it very popular for swim lovers in summer time.
- Sasamat Lake – Has a 3.06 km loop trail, generally considered an easy route. It’s popular for fishing, hiking and paddle sports.
