Maple Ridge has great attractions for all ages, indoor & outdoor. Arts centre, bowling alley, ice rink and curling, climbing wall, swimming pool, yoga & fitness studios are just some of the indoor activities.
Adventure explorers, adrenaline junkies, nature lovers and relaxation seekers will find lots of attractions in the city. The trail network encompasses over 100 km of local riding and hiking trails, as well as 50-60 km in nearby Golden Ears Provincial Park.

- Memorial Peace Park – located downtown, was developed to be a true community gathering place.
- Birds of Prey Sanctuary – has over 20 raptors

- Golden Years Provincial Park – the park has 205 camp sites, beach area and water access for canoeing and other water sports, extensive system of hiking and walking trails.
- Kanaka Creek Regional Park – 400 hectares of wilderness park, trails for walking or horse riding. The focal point is of the park is Cliff Falls, ideal for picnic.
- Malcolm Knapp Research Forest – 5,053 hectares. Has 4 trails that wind through the research forest.
