White Rock Recreation and Culture offer a selection of indoor and outdoor recreation and culture programs for all ages, including group fitness, day hikes, yoga, music, and dance. The City of White Rock features over 80 acres of park land.
- White Rock Pier – promenade runs almost the entire length of the beach and provides beautiful ocean scenery, and lots of access points to the beach & the restaurants.
- Centenial Park – is the largest green space park with recreation & sporting fields: playground, track, baseball diamond, off-leash dog area, tennis courts.
- Ruth Johnson Park/Trail – densely filled with ferns & trees
- Crescent Beach – it is a popular place for swimming, beach volleyball, sailing and scenic oceanfront walkway.
- Blackie Split Park – The park is named after the dramatic spit that extends into Mud Bay at the mouth of the Nicomekl River. Blackie Spit has amazing views of Mud Bay and the North Shore Mountains. The park has stunning beach area, picnic areas, off-leash dog area, and nature trails.
- Peace Arch Provincial Park – The Peace Arch, dedicated in 1921, was the first such structure in the world. It was built on the International Boundary between Canada and the United States to commemorate the lasting peace between the two countries. The park has beautiful lawns and gardens and picnic areas.
- Sunnyside Acres Urban Forest Park – 140 hectare park with a natural second growth forest. It has 4 km network of trails for every level of fitness.
