Most popular parks:

  • Tynehead Regional Park – 260 hectares of meadows & forest on the bank of Serpentine River. Ideal for a family day out with walking trails, picnic area, off-leash dog area, hatchery.
  • Mud Bay Park – 3 km scenic walk and a chance to see shorebirds and waterfowl in Boundary Bay area. The trail continues for 20 km of shoreline to Boundary Bay Regional Park.
  • Redwood Park – large forest of exotic trees, over 5 km of scenic trails, playground and several rustic picnic shelters. Great to see dozen of colorful fairy-homes, many of which have been done by children!
